CAIR-CAN and CAIR-US have launched this campaign as an outreach opportunity and counterweight to the discord and division created by the cartoon controversy.

This campaign is a positive, constructive attempt to further dialogue, discussion and mutual understanding amongst all Canadians.

I think we need to start talking to each other about this and I'm not convinced protests are the best way to do that.

I think the fact that people choose to reprint the cartoons could put our troops in danger.

We must further discuss these positive actions and continue to create spaces for dialogue, discussion and mutual understanding.
